Psalm 43:5 Why am I so sad? Why am I so upset? I should put my hope in God and keep praising him, my Savior and my God.

시편 기자는 자신이 너무 슬프고 화가 나는 이유에 대해 정리했습니다. 그것은 바로 자신이 생각하고 소망하는 것이 하나님 안에 있지 않았던 것을 발견한 것 같습니다. 그리고 찬양하기는 하지만 지속해서 꾸준히 하지 않았던 것도 생각했던 것 같습니다.
하나님을 알고 말씀을 믿고 예수님께 순종하며 살아간다는 마음이 있지만 여전히 슬프고 낙담이 되며 화가 나는 경우가 많습니다. 제가 원하고 제가 행동했고 제가 말했던 것들이 제대로 진행되지 않거나 묵살되거나 인정되지 않을 때 주로 화가 납니다. 바로 제가 주인공이 되기 때문입니다. 제가 주인공이 될 때에는 불만족스러운 상황이 전개됩니다. 제가 무엇인가 주도하고 무엇인가 생각하려 할 때에는 온전치 못한 자아상과 가치관으로 인하여 저 자신은 물론 주변인들도 힘들게 하고 아프게 합니다. 제가 무엇인가를 했다고 생각하는 한 부족함에서 벗어날 수는 없습니다.
역시 관심의 초점이 제게 있을 때에는 슬프고 화가 나는 결론에 도달하고 있습니다. 그러므로 제가 이러한 삶의 굴레에서 벗어나기 위해서는 오직 산소망 되시는 주님께 나아가는 적용이 필요합니다. 주님께 저 자신을 드리는 자가 되어야 하겠습니다. 오직 주님께만 소망을 두는 자가 되어야 하겠습니다.
주여, 제가 주님께만 소망을 두는 자가 되기를 간절히 기도드립니다. 아멘!

Why I am sad and angry → Because my hope is not in God
The psalmist summarized why he was so sad and angry: it seems that he had discovered that what he was thinking and hoping for was not in God, and that he was praising God but not doing so consistently.
Even though I have a heart to know God, believe His Word, and live in obedience to Jesus, I still feel sad, discouraged, and often angry. I get angry when the things I want, the things I've done, and the things I've said don't work out or are ignored or unacknowledged. That's because I'm the protagonist, and when I'm the protagonist, I'm dissatisfied. When I'm in charge, when I'm in charge of something, when I'm in charge of something, I'm in charge of an incomplete self-image and sense of worth, and I make myself and others suffer and hurt. As long as I think I've done something, I can't escape the feeling of inadequacy.
Again, when the focus of attention is on me, I am reaching sad and angry conclusions. Therefore, the only way for me to break out of this cycle of life is through the application of turning to the Lord as my oxygen net. I must become one who gives myself to You, one who puts my hope in You alone.
Lord, I fervently pray that I will be the one who puts my hope in You alone. Amen!
