이스라엘 사람들은 자신들의 삶에서 수없이 많은 은혜와 기적을 하나님께서 베푸셨지만 그들은 하나님을 잊어버리며 업신여기는 삶을 살았습니다. 이와 같이 자신들에게 은혜를 줄 때는 기뻐하며 감사하고, 평소에는 무시하며 하나님의 존재를 생각하는 자들이었습니다. 저도 제게 은혜와 기쁨을 주실 때에는 하나님을 기뻐하며 은혜가운데 살아가다 그렇지 않은 때에는 하나님을 기억하지도 않고 은혜를 기뻐하지도 않는 삶을 살아가는 모습을 보이게 되는데, 저도 은혜 밖에서의 삶을 청산하고 주님을 기억하고 주님의 행하신 바를 생각하며 감사와 기뻐하는 삶에서 성장이 있기를 기대합니다.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

오늘 삿 8:34 말씀을 통하여 이전의 은혜와 기적을 뒤로한 채 하나님을 모르는 영혼처럼 살아가는 모습에 대해 자백하고 하나님을 온전한 마음으로 찬양하는 시도를 하는 것을 적용하겠습니다. 예수님의 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘!

Judges 8:34 - Forgetting God - Forgetting the One Who Protects Against Enemies

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Israelites did not remember the Lord our God, but He was the one who served them and protected them from their enemies around them (Judges 8:34).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Israelites had seen God do countless favors and miracles in their lives, but they lived a life of forgetfulness and disrespect for God, rejoicing and thanking Him when He favored them, and ignoring Him when He did not. I, too, find myself living in grace, rejoicing in God when He gives me grace and joy, but when He doesn't, I live a life of forgetting Him and not rejoicing in His grace, and I expect to see growth in my life outside of grace, remembering Him, thinking of what He has done, and being thankful and rejoicing.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I will apply Judges 8:34 today to confess how I am living like a godless soul, leaving behind my former grace and miracles, and make an attempt to praise God with a full heart. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen!
