우리 모두는 구원받기를 원합니다. 일상에서 구원받아서 살아갈 수 있는 은혜를 구하기도 하며, 환락과 쾌락의 늪에 빠지기도 하며, 인간관계의 늪도 있고, 자신의 욕심과 야망에 의한 늪에 빠지기도 합니다. 물론 아픔의 늪에 있어서 고통하며 신음하는 분들도 많습니다. 우리 모두는 어떠한 형태로든 늪에 빠져 살아가는 삶을 살기도 합니다. 이러한 삶에서 벗어날 수 있는 방법은 이 세상에 있는 것으로는 불가능합니다. 늪 안에서 늪을 헤쳐 나올 수 있는 것은 없습니다. 바깥에 있는 무엇인가가 그 늪에서 빠져나올 수 있도록 할 수 있는 것입니다. 그리고 이 생을 마치고 다음 생에서 영원한 생명을 가지고 하나님의 나라인 천국에서 영원히 함께할 수 있는 축복을 누리기 위해서는 눈에 보이는 것에 따라 살아가면 안 되며, 영이신 하나님을 믿는 믿음이 필요합니다. 그와 같이 하나님을 알 수 있는 매개가 되는 것이 있어야 하겠습니다.
이것이 바로 구세주입니다. 그분은 바로 구세주 되시는 예수 그리스도이십니다. 주여, 제가 주님 되시는 예수 그리스도를 믿는 믿음을 가질 수 있기를 간절히 기도드립니다. 믿음을 가진 자가 되길 기도드립니다. 주여, 제가 주님을 믿는 믿음으로 말미암아 주님과 깊이 동행할 수 있는 자가 되기를 간절히 기도드립니다. 오늘도 믿음으로 말미암아 나타낼 수 있는 행동들을 하며, 그 믿음으로 말미암아 살아가는 삶을 통해 선한 간증을 하는 삶을 살아갈 수 있게 되기를 간절히 기도드립니다. 예수님의 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘!
