Though our sins surround and overflow us, the Lord forgives our sins (Psalm 65:3).
When sin is so abundant that it overflows and is bigger than anything else, so big that it seems to be able to contain itself, we often don't know what to do. When sin is so abundant, what can we do? There is very little that I can do against myself at that point.
But if the Lord can forgive my sins, I am so grateful that I can't do anything about them, but if the Lord forgives them, they are forgiven. Therefore, the only way to be free from sin is for Almighty God to forgive my sins.
Lord, help me today to escape from living a life surrounded by so many sins that surround me and emanate from me, and to live a life that seeks Your mercy, and to live a life that glorifies You. Lord, I fervently pray that You will forgive me for my sins and that I will live a life that glorifies You for living a life that is free from sin, so that I may be a person who is alert to the gospel and a bearer of the gospel.
