누구의 말을 듣고 순종해야 하는가? → 말씀되시는 주님

 

 

 

요한복음 21:5-6 말씀을 읽고 도전이 된 내용과 묵상하고 적용할 사항을 정리해 보았습니다.

 

John 21:5-6 Then he said to them, "Friends, did you catch any fish?" They answered, "No." He said, "Throw your net on the right side of the boat, and you will find some." So they did, and they caught so many fish they could not pull the net back into the boat. 

 

누구의 말을 듣고 순종해야 하는가? → 예수님의 말씀, 주님의 음성

 

예수님께서 부활하신 후 제자들에게 보이시며 "친구여, 고기를 잡았느냐?"라고 물으시니 그들이 아니라도 답했습니다(5절). 이때 예수님께서 배 오른편으로 그물을 던지면 잡을 것이라고 말씀하셨고 그들이 말씀대로 하자 잡아서 잡아 올리지 못할 정도로 많은 물고기를 잡았습니다.

 

살아가면서 많은 사람들의 이야기를 들으며 다양한 가치를 전달받고 공유하며 살아갑니다. 그러나 누구의 말을 듣느냐에 따라 삶이 변화되고 깨달음을 얻으며 자신의 삶이 진정으로 변화될 수 있는 것 같습니다. 누구의 말을 듣는지가 중요하며 누구의 말을 따라 살아가느냐도 중요한 것 같습니다.

 

정말 아무것도 잡지 못한 상황에서 예수님의 말씀을 듣고 그물을 던졌을 때 많은 물고기를 잡았던 것처럼 저도 예수님의 음성에 귀 기울이며 즉각 순종하는 삶을 살아야 하겠습니다. 물론 예수님의 음성임을 인지하며 살아가는 삶이 되어야 하겠습니다. 그러기 위해서는 말씀을 늘 가까이하며 사탄의 음성이 아니라 예수님의 음성을 말씀을 통해 듣고 삶에 적용하는 삶을 꾸준히 살아가야 하겠습니다.

 

오늘은 기업을 방문하게 되는데 그곳에서 말하고 듣게 되는 모든 상황 가운데 말을 경청하여 잘 듣고 제가 행동으로 옮길 것에 대해 깊이 생각하며 변화하는 삶이 되길 간절히 기도드립니다.

Whose words should we listen to and obey? → Jesus' words, the voice of the Lord

 

 

When Jesus appeared to his disciples after his resurrection, he asked them, "Friends, have you caught any fish?" and they said no (v. 5). Then he told them to cast their nets over the right side of the boat and they would be caught, and they did as they were told, catching so many fish that they could not bring them in.

 

 

As we go through life, we hear a lot of different things from a lot of different people, and we have a lot of different values imparted and shared, but it seems that depending on who you listen to, your life can be changed, you can be enlightened, and your life can be truly transformed. It seems that it matters who you listen to, and it matters whose words you live by.

 

 

Just like Jesus caught a lot of fish when he heard the words of Jesus and cast his net in a situation where he really caught nothing, I should live a life of listening to the voice of Jesus and immediately obeying it. Of course, it should be a life of recognizing that it is the voice of Jesus. To do that, I should keep the Word close to me and constantly live a life of hearing the voice of Jesus through the Word and applying it to my life, not the voice of Satan.

 

 

Today, I will be visiting businesses, and I pray that in all the situations where I will be speaking and listening, I will listen carefully to what is being said and think deeply about what I will do, and that I will be transformed.
