Job 30:15, 31:4 Great fears overwhelm me. They blow my honor away as if by a great wind, and my safety disappears like a cloud. / God sees my ways and counts every step I take.
두려움이 온몸을 덮는 상황에서의 반응 → 하나님이 보신다는 신뢰
욥은 자신에게 일어나는 상황뿐 아니라 친구들이 방문해서도 부정적인 이야기가 전개되자 많은 두려움에 휩싸였습니다. 살 소망이 끊어지는 상황이었을 것이며, 어디라도 붙들고자 했으나 아무 소용이 없는 상황임을 인지하여 자신에게 주어진 그 어떤 명예나 부유함도 모두 사라진 것을 체감했습니다. 자신의 신세를 한탄하는 시간도 보냈습니다만, 그럼에도 불구하고 결국에는 하나님께서 자신의 인생을 바라보시며 자신의 걸음 하나하나를 지켜보고 계신다는 신뢰를 믿음으로 가지고 고백하기에 이르렀습니다(31:4).
소망이 없어 보이는 삶이나 순간에 제가 버틸 수 있는 것은 여전히 하나님께서 저를 지켜보시고 저를 사랑해 주시며 저를 아끼시고 인도하신다는 것을 신뢰하는 것입니다. 언제나, 어디서나 저를 바라보고 계신다는 믿음을 가지고 있을 수 있다면 세상에서 끊어지는 것 같은 두려움이 있을지라도 극복하여 일어날 수 있을 것입니다. 주여, 저는 아직 이러한 믿음이 없습니다. 세상에 의존하며 세상에서 주는 편안함과 안정감에 도취되어 살아가고, 세상의 것을 추구하려는 마음이 강하여 그러한 기준으로 선택하며 살아가고 있습니다. 돈과 명예와 권력을 따라 그것을 위해 살아가며 부한 자나 명예로운 자, 권세가 높은 자에게는 매우 두려워하며 살아가는 인생이 되고 있습니다.
주여, 저를 도우시며 주님의 능력으로 주님을 바라보고 신뢰하는 삶을 살아갈 수 있게 도와주시옵소서.. 주여, 오늘의 삶 속에서도 두려운 상황에 직면할 때 오직 저를 붙드시는 분이 하나님이심을 기억하며 그 하나님께서 저를 보고 계시고 간절히 기도하고 계신다는 믿음과 신뢰를 갖는 삶이 되길 기도합니다. 주여, 연약한 자를 도와주시옵소서~ 아멘!

Reacting to situations when fear covers you → Trusting that God sees you
Job was filled with fear, not only because of what was happening to him, but also because his friends were visiting and talking negatively about him. He felt like he had no hope of survival, and he realized that any honor or wealth he had been given had been taken away from him as he tried to hold on to it to no avail. He spent some time lamenting his situation, but he eventually came to the point of confessing in faith that he trusted that God was looking at his life and watching his every step (31:4).
What keeps me going in a life or moment that seems hopeless is still trusting that God is watching over me, that He loves me, that He cares for me, that He is guiding me. If I can have the faith that He is watching over me at all times and in all places, then I will be able to rise above the fear of being cut off from the world. Lord, I don't have this faith yet; I live in dependence on the world, I live in the comfort and security that the world gives me, I live in the desire to pursue the things of the world, and I make my choices by those standards. I am living for it, following money, honor, and power, and I am living in great fear of the rich, the honorable, and the powerful.
Help me, Lord, to live a life of looking to You and trusting in You and Your power. Lord, I pray that as I face fearful situations in my life today, I will remember that it is You who holds me up, and that I will live a life of faith and trust that You are watching me and praying for me earnestly. Lord, help the weak in spirit - Amen!
