사도의 조건 - 부활하신 예수님을 증거하는 것

 

 

 

사도행전 1:21-22 말씀을 읽고 도전이 된 내용과 묵상하고 적용할 사항을 정리해 보았습니다.

 

Acts 1:21-22 So now a man must become a witness with us of Jesus' being raised from the dead. He must be one of the men who were part of our group during all the time the Lord Jesus was among us - from the time John was baptizing people until the day Jesus was taken up from us to heaven."

 

 

사도의 조건 → 부활하신 예수님의 증인이 될 것

 

베드로는 예수님의 부활 이후로 유다를 대신할 제자를 뽑자고 하며 제자는 죽음으로부터 일어나 부활하신 예수님을 증거 해야만 할 것이라고 말했습니다(21절). 주님을 따랐던 제자, 주님을 따르려 하는 제자들에게 요구하는 가장 핵심적이며 첫 번째 조건으로 베드로는 부활하신 예수님을 증언하며 증인으로서의 삶을 살아가는 자를 꼽았습니다. 살아가며 제자와 성도로서 자신의 신앙을 증거 하는 여러 가지 많은 행동과 말이 있을 것이지만, 그중에서도 가장 중요하게 여기는 것은 예수님의 부활에 대한 증인이 되는 것이었습니다. 그렇습니다. 죽음으로부터 부활하신 예수님은 우리들의 모든 삶을 변화시키실 수 있는 주인 되신 주님이시며, 또한 영원한 삶을 허락하시는 구세주가 되시는 분이십니다.

 

저도 주님을 믿는다 하며 전도하고 말씀이나 믿음을 증거 하는 삶을 살아간다고 생각합니다만, 부활하신 예수님에 대해서 말하는 경우는 그리 많지 않았습니다. 그리하여 저도 부활하신 예수님을 증거 하는 삶을 살아가는 것을 가장 중요한 가치로 여기고 증인으로서의 삶을 살아가려는 시도를 할 수 있기를 주님의 이름으로 기도드립니다.

 

주여, 오늘도 다양한 만남이 있고 주변 환경이 있습니다만, 주님의 부활하심으로 새로운 생명을 얻게 되고 새로운 삶을 살게 되는 진리 안에 거하는 삶이 되길 간절히 기도드립니다. 예수님의 이름으로 기도드립니다. 아멘!

Apostleship requirements → To be a witness to the resurrected Jesus

 

 

When Peter asked to choose a disciple to replace Judas after Jesus' resurrection, he said that the disciple would have to be a witness to the risen Jesus (v. 21). The first and foremost requirement for a disciple, a follower of the Lord, a person who would follow the Lord, was to live a life as a witness, testifying to the resurrected Jesus. There would be many other things we would do and say in our lives as disciples and saints that would testify to our faith, but the most important of these would be to be a witness to the resurrection of Jesus. That's right. Jesus, who rose from the dead, is the Lord and Savior who can change all of our lives, and who offers us eternal life.

 

 

I believe that I believe in the Lord and live a life of evangelizing and testifying to the word and faith, but I rarely talk about the resurrected Jesus. Therefore, I pray in the name of the Lord that I can consider living a life that testifies to the resurrected Jesus as the most important value and attempt to live a life as a witness.

 

 

Lord, I pray that today, even though there are various encounters and surroundings, it will be a life of abiding in the truth, a life that has been given new life by your resurrection. In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen!
