사도행전 2:42 말씀을 읽고 도전이 된 내용과 묵상하고 적용할 사항을 정리해 보았습니다.
Acts 2:42 They spent their time learning the apostles' teaching, sharing, breaking bread, and praying together.
제자들의 가르침을 통해 배운 것 → 말씀, 기도, 교제, 증거 하는 것
제자들은 예수님께서 승천하신 이후로 사람들에게 가르침이 되는 것을 행했습니다. 즉, 본 된 삶을 살았습니다. 제자들의 삶으로부터 배웠던 것은 먼저 제자들의 가르침(teaching)이었습니다. 가르침은 아마도 말씀을 가르쳤을 것 같습니다. 예수님께서 하신 말씀과 구약의 진리, 그리고 그들 간의 관계, 예수님의 그리스도이심, 예수님의 하나님 되심 등을 가르쳤고, 믿음을 가지도록 가르치는 일을 했을 것입니다. 그리고 나누는 것(sharing)이었습니다. 나눈다는 것은 자신이 가진 것을 다른 사람과 교류하는 것을 의미하므로 제자들이 가지고 있는 성경적인 지식, 예수님의 말씀 등 영적인 부분은 물론 음식을 나누고(breaking bread), 자신의 간증이 되는 삶, 가치관, 철학 등 자신이 가진 모든 것을 사람들과 나누며 믿음을 가지고 증거 하는... 나누는 삶을 살며 았을 것 같습니다. 그들은 나누는 삶을 통하여 예수님과 말씀을 증거 하는 증인으로서의 삶을 살았을 것이며, 음식과 간증 등을 나누며 주님 안에서 신령한 교제를 성도들과 함께 나누는 시간을 가졌을 것입니다. 또한 함께 간절히 기도(praying)하는 시간을 가졌습니다. 기도를 통하여 하나님과 동행하며 하나님의 뜻을 살피며 성령충만한 삶을 살기에 힘썼을 것 같습니다.
제자들이 말씀을 가르치고 간절히 기도하며 하나님과 동행하며, 떡을 떼며 교제하기에 힘쓰고, 말씀을 나누는 증인으로서의 삶을 살아간 것을 보면 그들의 삶이 말씀과 기도와 교제와 증인으로서의 삶을 잘 살았던 것 같습니다. 이것이 그들 자신이 신앙을 더욱 성숙시키며 성장하는 방법이었으며, 그들을 따르는 많은 성도들의 믿음도 세워주는 중요한 가르침의 방법이었던 것 같습니다.
주여, 저도 오늘 하루 동안 믿음을 가지고 주님의 말씀을 한 구절 이상 암송하고, 기도함으로 하나님의 뜻을 분별하고, 주님 안에서 경건한 교제하기에 힘쓰고, 주님의 말씀과 성경을 증거 하며 증인으로서의 삶을 살아가기를 간절히 기도드립니다. 주여, 믿음에서 멀어지며 세상을 좇으며 살아가는 인생으로부터 돌이켜서 주님을 찬양하고 알아가며 깊이 동행하는 삶이 되고, 주님께 붙어있는 삶이 되기를 기도드립니다. 아멘!
What we learned from the disciples' teaching → Word, prayer, fellowship, witnessing
Since the ascension of Jesus, the disciples have done what is called teaching people, that is, they have lived an example life. What we have learned from the lives of the disciples is first of all their teaching. Teaching probably involved teaching the Word - what Jesus said, the truths of the Old Testament, and their relationship to each other, Jesus' being the Christ, Jesus' being God, and so on - and teaching them to have faith. And then there was sharing. Sharing means exchanging what you have with others, so the disciples would have been sharing everything they had with others, including their biblical knowledge, the words of Jesus, spiritual things like sharing food, sharing their testimonies, their lives, their values, their philosophies, whatever they had, sharing their faith, their witness... They would have lived a life of sharing, a life of witnessing to Jesus and the Word through sharing, and they would have had times of divine fellowship in the Lord with the saints, sharing food and testimonies, and they would have had times of earnest prayer together. Through prayer, they would have sought to walk with God, seek His will, and live a Spirit-filled life.
From the way the disciples taught the Word, prayed fervently, walked with God, broke bread and fellowshipped, and lived their lives as witnesses to the Word, it seems that their lives were well spent in teaching, prayer, fellowship, and witnessing. This seems to have been an important way of teaching and growing in their own faith, as well as building the faith of the many saints who followed them. Lord, it is my earnest prayer that I, too, will walk in faith throughout this day, memorizing at least one verse of Your Word, discerning Your will in prayer, striving for godly fellowship in You, and living a life of witness to Your Word and the Bible.
Lord, I pray that we may turn away from a life of living after the world and away from the faith, and that we may live a life of praising and knowing You, of deeply walking with You, and of clinging to You. Amen!
